Pyonta Privacy Policy

Pyonta is a macOS app by odiften for transferring files, text, and URLs between Android devices and Mac using Quick Share-compatible local network communication.

1. Information Pyonta Does Not Collect

Pyonta does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following on remote servers:

• The contents, names, sizes, MIME types, timestamps, or other original metadata of files you send or receive
• Text or URLs shared through the app
• Local network peer information such as Quick Share device names, local IP addresses, or hardware identifiers
• Full crash logs, free-form application logs, or the contents of diagnostic error messages
• Personally identifiable information such as your name or email address

odiften does not operate any server that receives your transfer data from Pyonta. The app does not include a third-party analytics SDK. The optional diagnostic service described below receives only fixed, sanitized fields and never receives the transferred content itself.

2. Information Handled Locally on Your Mac

2.1 Optional Anonymous Diagnostics

Automatic diagnostic sharing is off by default. Pyonta asks for your permission before enabling it, and you can turn it off at any time from the menu.

When enabled, Pyonta may send a sanitized report when a technical transfer failure occurs and daily aggregate counts of sanitized transfer events. User rejection and user cancellation are not sent as automatic failure reports.

Each report contains only fixed fields: a new random report ID used only for that report, creation time, report type, app version and build, numeric macOS version, CPU architecture, transfer direction, transfer stage, result status, broad content category, sender-provided text category, a file-count bucket, whether the transfer was accepted automatically, a predefined error category, and an event count. Pyonta does not create or send a persistent installation, device, advertising, account, purchase, or customer identifier for diagnostics.

You may also choose Send diagnostics from the menu. Pyonta shows a confirmation each time and, only after confirmation, sends up to 20 recent sanitized transfer events using the same limited fields. This manual action works independently of the automatic sharing setting.

Diagnostic reports are sent over HTTPS to a Cloudflare Worker and stored in Cloudflare D1. The service uses the request IP address transiently to apply abuse and rate limits. Pyonta's diagnostic database and application logs do not store the IP address. Cloudflare necessarily processes network request metadata to provide its service. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

3. Local Network Communication

Pyonta uses Quick Share-compatible local network communication to discover nearby Android devices and exchange transfer data directly between your Mac and the other device.

• Bonjour/mDNS: Pyonta advertises a local network service so nearby Android devices can discover your Mac.
• Direct TCP connection: When a transfer starts, Pyonta and the Android device communicate directly on the local network.
• Encrypted transfer: Transfer data is encrypted using the Quick Share/Nearby Share protocol's encrypted channel.
• No odiften server: File transfer data is not routed through an odiften server.

You can turn off visibility from the Pyonta menu bar item. When visibility is off, your Mac is hidden from the Quick Share device picker on nearby Android devices.

4. Permissions Pyonta Requests

Pyonta does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, photos library, or location.

5. In-App Purchases

Pyonta uses Apple StoreKit and RevenueCat to process Pyonta+ purchases, restore purchases, and check whether Pyonta+ is active.

For this purpose, purchase-related information may be processed by Apple and RevenueCat, such as:

• An anonymous RevenueCat app user identifier
• App Store product identifiers and transaction or receipt information
• Purchase, subscription, restore, and entitlement status
• App version, platform, and similar technical information needed to operate purchases

Pyonta does not send file contents, file names, shared text, shared URLs, Quick Share device names, or local network transfer data to RevenueCat. Payment details such as credit card numbers are handled by Apple; odiften and Pyonta do not receive them.

6. This Website

This privacy policy page is hosted on odiften.com. odiften.com uses Google Analytics to understand website traffic. This website analytics setup is separate from the Pyonta app itself. The Pyonta app does not include Google Analytics.

7. Data Retention

• Files you receive remain in the save location until you delete them.
• Text copied to the clipboard remains there according to macOS clipboard behavior.
• App preferences remain on your Mac until you reset them or uninstall Pyonta.
• Sanitized diagnostic history keeps only the 20 most recent events on your Mac. Older events are automatically overwritten, and the history is removed when Pyonta's local data is deleted.
• Pending automatic diagnostic reports remain on your Mac for no more than 7 days. Turning off automatic diagnostic sharing clears the pending automatic reports and the current daily aggregate from your Mac.
• Sanitized reports received by the diagnostic service are deleted after 30 days. Because reports do not contain a persistent user or device identifier, we cannot use them to identify or retrieve an individual user's report.
• odiften does not retain transferred files, file names, shared text, shared URLs, or other transfer content on servers because no transfer server is used.
• Purchase and entitlement records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their own policies and are used to provide Pyonta+ access and purchase support.

8. Children's Privacy

Pyonta is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. Optional diagnostic reports are not linked to an account, person, or persistent device identifier.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

1. Pyonta が収集しない情報

Pyonta は、以下の情報をリモートサーバーに収集・送信・保管しません。

odiften は、Pyonta の転送データを受け取るサーバーを運用していません。Pyonta アプリには第三者の分析用 SDK も組み込まれていません。後述する任意の診断サービスが受け取るのは、固定された項目からなる内容除外済みの情報だけであり、転送内容そのものは受け取りません。

2. Mac 内で扱う情報

2.1 任意の匿名診断

自動診断共有は初期状態でオフです。Pyonta は有効化する前に利用者の許可を求め、利用者はメニューからいつでもオフにできます。

有効にした場合、技術的な転送エラーが起きたときの内容除外済みレポートと、内容を除外した転送イベントの日次集計を送信することがあります。利用者が拒否・キャンセルした操作は、自動エラーレポートとして送信しません。

各レポートに含まれるのは固定項目だけです。そのレポートのためだけに生成するランダムなレポート ID、作成日時、レポート種別、アプリのバージョンとビルド番号、macOS の数値バージョン、CPU アーキテクチャ、転送方向、転送段階、結果、内容の大分類、送信側が付けたテキスト分類、ファイル件数の区分、自動受諾の有無、定義済みのエラー分類、イベント件数です。診断用の継続的なインストール ID、端末 ID、広告 ID、アカウント ID、購入 ID、顧客 ID は作成も送信もしません。

メニューの「診断情報を送信」から手動送信することもできます。送信のたびに確認画面を表示し、確認後に限って、直近20件までの内容除外済み転送イベントを同じ限定項目で送信します。この手動操作は、自動診断共有の設定とは独立しています。

診断情報は HTTPS で Cloudflare Worker へ送信し、Cloudflare D1 に保管します。診断サービスは、不正利用防止とレート制限のため、リクエストの IP アドレスを処理中だけ使用します。Pyonta の診断データベースおよびアプリケーションログには IP アドレスを保存しません。Cloudflare はサービス提供のためにネットワークリクエストのメタデータを処理します。詳しくは Cloudflare のプライバシーポリシーをご確認ください。

3. ローカルネットワーク通信

Pyonta は、近くの Android 端末を発見し、Mac と相手端末の間で直接データをやり取りするため、Quick Share 互換のローカルネットワーク通信を使用します。

• Bonjour / mDNS: 近くの Android 端末が Mac を見つけられるよう、ローカルネットワーク上でサービスを広告します。
• 直接 TCP 接続: 転送開始後は、Pyonta と Android 端末がローカルネットワーク上で直接通信します。
• 暗号化された転送: 転送データは Quick Share / Nearby Share プロトコルの暗号化された通信路で送受信されます。
• odiften サーバー不使用: ファイル転送データが odiften のサーバーを経由することはありません。

メニューバーの Pyonta から可視性をオフにできます。オフにすると、近くの Android 端末の Quick Share 送信先候補にこの Mac は表示されません。

4. Pyonta が要求する権限

Pyonta は、カメラ、マイク、連絡先、カレンダー、写真ライブラリ、位置情報へのアクセスを要求しません。

5. アプリ内課金

Pyonta は、Pyonta+ の購入処理、購入の復元、Pyonta+ が有効かどうかの確認のために、Apple StoreKit と RevenueCat を使用します。

この目的のため、Apple および RevenueCat では、以下のような購入関連情報が処理されることがあります。

• RevenueCat が発行する匿名のアプリ利用者 ID
• App Store の製品 ID、取引情報、レシート情報
• 購入、サブスクリプション、復元、権利状態
• 購入機能の提供に必要なアプリバージョン、プラットフォーム等の技術情報

Pyonta は、ファイルの内容、ファイル名、共有テキスト、共有 URL、Quick Share の端末名、ローカルネットワーク上の転送データを RevenueCat に送信しません。クレジットカード番号などの支払い情報は Apple が処理し、odiften および Pyonta は受け取りません。

RevenueCat のプライバシーポリシーは https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy で確認できます。

6. この Web サイトについて

本プライバシーポリシーページは odiften.com 上で公開されています。odiften.com では Web サイトのアクセス状況を把握するため Google Analytics を使用しています。これは Pyonta アプリ本体とは別の Web サイト用の計測です。Pyonta アプリには Google Analytics は含まれていません。

7. データの保管期間

• 受信したファイルは、利用者が削除するまで保存先に残ります。
• クリップボードにコピーされたテキストは、macOS のクリップボードの動作に従って残ります。
• アプリ設定は、利用者がリセットするか Pyonta をアンインストールするまで Mac 内に残ります。
• 内容を除外した診断履歴は Mac 内に直近20件だけ保持し、古い記録から自動的に上書きします。Pyonta のローカルデータを削除すると履歴も削除されます。
• 未送信の自動診断情報は Mac 内に最長7日間保持します。自動診断共有をオフにすると、未送信の自動診断情報と当日分の集計を Mac 内から削除します。
• 診断サービスが受信した内容除外済みレポートは30日後に削除します。継続的な利用者 ID・端末 ID を含まないため、特定の利用者のレポートを識別して取り出すことはできません。
• 転送用サーバーは使用しないため、転送されたファイル、ファイル名、共有テキスト、共有 URL、その他の転送内容を odiften のサーバーに保管することはありません。
• 購入および権利状態の記録は、Apple および RevenueCat の各ポリシーに従って保持され、Pyonta+ の提供と購入サポートに使用されます。

8. 子どものプライバシー

Pyonta は 13 歳未満の児童を対象としておらず、児童から個人データを意図的に収集することはありません。任意の診断レポートは、アカウント、個人、継続的な端末識別子とは関連付けられません。

9. ポリシーの変更

本ポリシーは必要に応じて改定されることがあります。重要な変更がある場合は、本ページの「最終更新日」を更新して反映します。
